Level 3 creative make-up and hairstyling course covers a week of advanced make-up techniques and products used for creating looks for commercial shows and catwalks around the world. The intensive course is suitable for students with completed foundation and media units. The course is a continuation of working with the most advanced products and techniques used on the international catwalks.

The final week of the course is dedicated to hairstyling in preparation for the final photoshoot on which students design and create make-up and hair.

Hairstyling course is designed for the make-up artists who want to expand their abilities by creating a full look with make-up and hairstyling. The students learn an overview of the hair structure, essential hygiene and understanding of various hair products, equipment and the tools used in the industry. The unit covers how to use heated appliances safely to blow dry, curl and straighten the hair.  At the end of the course all students are able to use various techniques to create fashionable and classic looks (hair up and down) using hair pieces, extensions and accessories.

On the last day the students work to the brief creating their first full look of make-up and hair as their final practical exam.

The course is awarded with Certificate of the Completion of the Hairstyling Course after passing the practical exam and completing all variations.

Passing all exams leads to achievement of Make-Up-Centre Professional Make-Up Artist Diploma.

Media and hairstyling course is currently available as a full time unit, 10 days Monday to Friday (10.00-17.00)

  • Attaching hair extensions, pieces
